Jinnyangho Lake

Jinnyangho Lake is a lake formed by the construction of the Namgang Dam, the first multi-purpose dam in the Nakdonggang River basin, completed in July 1970. It is a significant drinking water source in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do, where the Namgang River and Deokcheongang River meet. The lake is named after Jinyang, the old name of Jinju-si. In addition, this place provides various attractions such as zoos and parks. These attractions offer a variety of natural scenery throughout the four seasons.

Jinjuseong Fortress

Jinjuseong Fortress has no exact record of how many years but it is estimated to have been built in the 7th century. It often appears in Korean history as a place that has not fallen when dealing with war. The circumference of the outer castle is 4km, and the rim of the inner fortress is 1.7km. It is used as a walking course because the view of the river inside the fort is beautiful.

Chokseokru Pavilion

Chokseokru Pavilion is located in Jinjuseong Fortress, Bonseong-dong, Jinju-si, Gyeongsangnam-do. Chokseokru Pavilion, located behind the cliff along the Namgang River, is the southern pole of Jinjuseong Fortress. It was also when a person in charge of the military stepped up and ordered it. However, this is a historical place where this history has been handed down and preserved for future generations by committing suicide with a Japanese general to help in a bad situation during the war with Japan. Therefore, the location is inside the fortress, but it is listed separately.
